So don't expect some fancy diner. This is your classic mom and pop tiny city diner. But my goodness it goes on the list for the most epic breakfast ever. I hate ordering eggs over easy and they taste like everything else in the skillet, but this food was fresh, toasty, and the coffee is so delicious. Ordered the corned beef hash and eggs with hash browns and a buttermilk biscuit with a pancake, my friend had an omelette and we picked at everything which was absolutely amazing. I love that this place is such a hidden gem. I felt like I was in Luke's diner.

Lotus express...I really really wanted to like this place. It's so close and they offer free delivery within a 1.5 mile radius which I could have taken advantage of if I'd had cash. The people are nice. The food was off. Curry was flavorless and greasy. Taro boba was the chalkiest and grittiest boba I'd ever had. I got surcharged $1.50 for tofu in my tofu curry...I don't understand. I'd read great reviews on here, but my experience was lackluster. $14 for a takeout box of curry, white rice, and boba? I could dine in at a nice Thai restaurant for about the same price. Maybe it was an off day or something, but when your establishment is completely dead you'd think every order would be made to perfection to keep your customers coming back.

This is a nice diner to get in and out quick with a good bite to eat. I've come here a few times, mostly for breakfast, and have always left satisfied. Mostly just standard diner fare, but not overly greasy which is rare to find. The prices are more than fair, and the portions are pretty good. This is my preferred diner when I'm in this particular area of town.

I went to this restaurant for lunch order the egg salad sandwich on a Kaiser roll ice tea french fries so far so good drank some. Tea taste like water the egg salad sandwiches was taste less also the Kaiser roll was not fresh the french fries nothing. to talk about Service disappointing and no dessert l will try Linda's dinner next time.

Cute little diner off of Fairbanks and close to I-4. Menu offers a variety of breakfast and lunch items. Fast service and more than reasonable prices. Outdated decor and parking is tight. Tried the biscuit and gravy, nothing special but it was good.

Asians do breakfast GREAT! This Korean owned diner has been my breakfast spot since 2011. Call me a regular because they know my name and I'm there after the midnight shift at the hospital a couple times a week. The breakfast is typical diner grill fare but don't pass them up for lunch! There are always delicious specials at a bargain price. The coffee is delish and the waitresses never let you cup get warm or half full. If you are a newbie, prepare for the ketchup bottle prank.... ;) This is traditional breakfast and lunch with full plates complimented by tasty side items; all meals clock in below $10. Its open early and the few times I have arrived before 0530, my favorite waitress always opens the door for me to sip hot coffee until the grill is fired up. This restaurant has a special place in my heart and I humbly request you tip my girls heavy whenever you stop by. If a down home breakfast is what you want, roll on down to Fairbanks Restaurant!

I really love this little place. It's near my house, so my family decided to go there one morning for breakfast to give it a try. We were really pleased with the food and service! You honestly cannot find a cheaper place to eat (I spend about $5 for a good-sized breakfast!), and the food is excellent. They do an amazing job with their eggs, in particular. Unlike other places I've frequented, I never have to send anything back or complain about something being burned or cooked improperly. Everything always arrives to the table just as I asked for it. The service is wonderful and prompt. Everyone who works there is pleasant and gets you everything you need right away. The food pretty much always comes out lightning fast, too! I'll keep coming back for more great meals!

My wife and I wanted to try a different place this morning for breakfast and walked away feeling like we just discovered our new favorite place. Parking is very tight. Nothing special to look at inside or out BUT the restaurant was extremely clean as well as its restrooms. Our waitress was Jenny who was very, very friendly. Our coffees were brought right out, tasted great and the cups were constantly being refilled. The coffee was plenty and flowing. My wife ordered the Hungry Man's plate and she loved it. She is picky about her home fries and these did not disappoint her. I tasted some of her sausage patty that had a slight smoky flavor. It was very good. I had the 3 egg meat lover's omelet. I will definitely order it again. BIG portions and LOW prices. The regulars were greeted by their first names. We met the owner Ms. Chin who was very friendly. We will definitely be back!!!!

Has become our daily breakfast spot. Food is perfect portion and it is delicious especially their coffee. All the servers are very nice. Highly recommend it!

We went here this morning, around 11:30, for breakfast. I laughed with delight when I saw the kitschy, 1960"s decor. Clear plastic covered the booth fabric, strange and wonderful old mismatched pieces of the past lined the wall shelving, the carpet was worn and torn and spotless. Right out of an early episode of "Roseanne". The servers were a group of ladies of all ages and the service was waaayyyy above average. Our server was all smiles and gave us lots of info and helpful tips. Hubby ordered the Western omelette with a side of corned beef hash and said it was great. I had a skillet dish with scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, onion and a bit of melted cheddar on the top. The highlight, however, was the biscuits. Sadly, we had arrived too late for the sausage gravy as they only make a certain amount each morning and, when it's gone, it's gone! Back to the biscuits. Far too many places obviously purchase and microwave their biscuits and the giveaway is that they are cool in the middle...and tough. These were like Mom's. Hot all the way through, flaky and soft. We found out that the owner is there every morning, baking biscuits for the day at 6:00 a.m. Now THAT's the way it's done!!! The coffee was strong and the prices were right. Next time we're going earlier to cash in on that sausage gravy! And there will be a next time.

This place is delicious! If you are ever looking for a place to eat breakfast, this is it. I had the chicken fried steak & it was one of the best I've ever had. Their omelet & French toast is really good. Everyone is super friendly & attentive! My coffee cup was never empty. If you are ever on Fairbanks or want some breakfast come here and support your local business!

This small diner offers great breakfast at an inexpensive cost. We ordered: Biscuits and gravy Fried Eggs over easy with Bacon Home Fries. It was a busy Saturday. Their sweet tea was good. The biscuits and gravy was the best item we ordered. The bacon was perfectly cooked, I could have ate more of that. The egg over easy was cooked well but the home fries were a disappointment to me. They lacked any seasoning. They more resembled cubes of baked potato that was never buttered or seasoned. Everything else was great. It's a small family like diner with great prices and wonderful service.

I love diners. A good down-to-earth diner is a piece of Americana. Fairbanks Restaurant fills the bill: inexpensive, extremely friendly, solidly comforting food, and delightful banter between the staff and the regulars. I had a nice small breakfast there recently. On my previous visit, it was for lunch and I had no cash. After placing my order, I spotted a sign reading "No Credit Cards Accepted." (That has now changed.) I told my friendly waitress that I would need to cancel my order as I had no cash. Her reply was "Enjoy your meal, honey, and just pay us next time!" Now that's Americana!
